Ordered product. Got email verification on the estimated ship & delivery date. Next day got a cancellation notice from 6ave with no explaination. Checked Amazon site and 6ave was now no longer a seller for the TV but it was available on 6ave website for $700 more! Called them and they said they were out of the item and the system automatically cancels orders. Asked if I could keep my order on backorder and was told “No” the system will not allow it. Told them the TV is on their website and was told the website did not keep up with the orders and was indeed out of stock. RIGHT! Called Amazon and even though the credit card had a hold put on it for the amount, they would not honor the A-Z warranty. They said they would put a note in 6ave file for others to see. Don’t see it anywhere. This was 2 weeks ago. I will NEVER buy from 6ave either direct or through amazon. As for amazon….. stand behind your warranty or remove it!

Beware of ordering from 6th Ave. They will NOT honor the terms of the Amazon sale. Amazon promised free “White Glove” delivery, but 6th Ave reneged. Even if they seem to have the cheapest price, it’s worth choosing another seller to avoid dealing with 6th Ave. Amazon! You have half a dozen other sources for this television. Get rid of 6th Ave!

After much research, I purchased this tv and was initially very pleased with the picture quality and appearance of this tv. However, 3 weeks after taking delivery, the tv shut off by itself and I was unable to get it to turn back on. The light on the front of the tv blinked 7 times in a sequence. I contacted Panasonic and they arranged for a service visit with a local repair shop. I started researching this problem online and sure enough, many other people have reported a similar issue. Apparently this is a large enough problem that Panasonic had already informed the repair shop of which parts would be needed for the repair. I’ve seen estimates that as many as 2-3% of these tv’s will have this issue with the power supply. Google the following “panasonic plasma blinking power light” for more info. I wished I would have seen this before purchasing. Why take the risk? To compound matters, the parts are on backorder so I will be without my new tv for 10 days.

I bought this TV last spring and paid $1600, something I’d said I’d never do. Brought it home and set it up and was a little stunned to find out that I needed to upgrade my DirectTV receiver to HD. After all was said and done, it truly is the best thing I’ve ever purchased. I talked to 2 different salesmen from 2 different major dept. store chains when I was looking. I was set on the LCD from what I had heard. After the “spiel”, I asked both salesmen what they owned and they both said “plasma”. They explained some stuff about the rate of speed that is captured with the plasma and that they both notice the LCD streaking at times of high action in sporting events. They also did warn me about reflection issues with the plasma and they were right. I have a window at the back of the room on the south side of the house and when the sun shines in, I have to shut the curtains. If I look close (really, really close), I can see the lights in the room reflect off the glass like screen, but the outstanding picture and contrast make it a non-issue for me. I used to occasionally check in to catch the scores of the MN Twins games with my 34 inch Toshiba, now I look forward to coming home and watching the entire games. I’m still paying off the credit card, but haven’t sent in a payment yet that hasn’t brought satisfaction to mind. I’m salivating waiting for Football season! It’s really a great TV….

This tv was at least $500 more at the traditional stores (Best Buy, Ultimate Electronics…). We bought it with free shipping and it was delivered by two people with in just a few days of us ordering. It is a great TV!! Beautiful picture!!
