how can i connet my computer to my 50 inch plasma the t.v is a sanyo?

i work at best buy there should be a VGA input and u get a VGA cord and blug it from ur computer to that VGA input on the back of the TV
VGA cord must be MALE to MALE remember that
Check if your TV has a VGA connection:

or a DVI connection:

With those 2, you can probably hook it up from your video card straight to your TV.
If not, check for an HDMI connection:

If you have an HDMI, you will need to get a DVI to HDMI cable.
For sound, some video cards support sounds through DVI. If yours does not then you need to get a mini phone plug to dual RCA jack stereo cable:
