Also which would you choose 50 inch plasma or 60 inch DLP? Both are pretty much the same price. I don’t care for LCD by te way. I’m not sure what DLP is so I’m leaning toward plasma.

it doesnt matter if its LCD or Plasma… I saw one of wal-marts deals and they had a 50 inch plasma hdtv 1080p for 798… can anyone find one like this or lower?

Ok, now I KNOW not to pick a TV by looks alone I am doing my research, plasma vs LCD 720 vs. 1080, etc etc. I’d like between a 42 and 50 inch screen. But here’s my question. Are they all black?? I want silver or brushed nickle or something other than black. Is that even possible?

How, or can I get rid of the black bars on the sides that makes the picture fit on the tv? I would like the picture to be fit to the whole screen. My cable provider is comcast. does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of the dam bars?
