So I am thinking about getting a TV for my sitting room, and I am looking at buying guide on the internet. It said I need 12 ft view distance for a 50 inches LCD, so if I need to sit that far from the TV, will I see a picture as good. Also if the resolution is the same for a 50 inches and 32 inches(like they are both 1080p), for 50 inches wouldn’t the TV stretch the pictures wider and worsen the quality of the picture.
That’s all my logical guess, if there is anything I missadressed, please feel free to correct me.

I live in Australia and the only thing that plays blu-ray at the moment is the PS3 which is the only thing stopping me from getting an Xbox 360. But if the blu-ray on the PS3 is not as good as a regular blu-ray player or it is going to be far cheaper to just buy a blu-ray player in the future. Because i really want blu-ray
and if it goes cheap within about half a year then there’s no point in me getting a PS3. I have a really good 50 inch
LCD HD TV and it would work well with blu-ray
could somebody tell me when separate blu-ray players are going to be released in Australia? and within half a year are they going to be $600 Australian dollars or cheaper? thankyou
this is a serious problem for me and i need help really fast!
please please please please help it would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!=D

We shopped for the t.v. at Best Buy and we picked the one with the best picture. I know the screens are mounted on the wall there, so maybe the distance gave us the illusion that the picture was really clear? Here in our home, there are parts of the screen that look blurry and you can see the blurred pixels. It looks nice at a glance I suppose, but it sure doesn’t seem to look like the ones they have in the stores.
What gives? Is there anything I can do? I messed with the sharpness, contrast, color, etc…and that didn’t help.
