Also which would you choose 50 inch plasma or 60 inch DLP? Both are pretty much the same price. I don’t care for LCD by te way. I’m not sure what DLP is so I’m leaning toward plasma.

Does anyone have any personal experiences with LCD Flat Screen TVs? My mom is interested in getting a 50 inch and was curious how people felt about them. I am so picky about electronics and want to know if I need to stop her. Thanks so much!

i have a 50 inch Samsung LCD tv and the screen was shot with a plastic airsoft bebe, the bebe didnt go through it but it messed up the picture. Can i possibly buy a new screen or anything like that?

So I am thinking about getting a TV for my sitting room, and I am looking at buying guide on the internet. It said I need 12 ft view distance for a 50 inches LCD, so if I need to sit that far from the TV, will I see a picture as good. Also if the resolution is the same for a 50 inches and 32 inches(like they are both 1080p), for 50 inches wouldn’t the TV stretch the pictures wider and worsen the quality of the picture.

That’s all my logical guess, if there is anything I missadressed, please feel free to correct me.

A while ago I remember something like my Tv flashed and it was zoomed in a little. It didnt bother me much noticing that i can’t see things like the temperature on the news or tickertapes. But the dialog options on mass effect 2 are cut off and I can’t stand that. I can’t play it.

Someone please help me! What can I do. I have the aspect ratio as far out as it can go and can’t find any setting to fix this.

How do you fix this? it pressing the aspect ratio button does nothing and it isn’t just when I watch tv. When I put my xbox in it still cuts it off so it is the tv.

looking to purchase one 40-50 inches. plasma or lcd? i heard lcd is better. my main thing it will be used for is sports and playstation 3. any suggestions?
