When I graduated from college and decided to move to the big city, I knew that money was going to be spent wisely. I managed to rent an apartment for much lower than I had foreseen but I still knew I needed money for utilities and other required items.
I have a sound job but it doesn’t pay enough money to supply me with much disposable income. So I needed to acquire ways to cut corners anyway viable. I started to visit garage sales to ascertain many miscellaneous items for decorating my pad.
I also searched through clearance bins and collected as many coupons as I could for department stores. I was quickly discovery things that are my style and saving scores of money. Another important part of my living position is entertainment.
I am not big on music, but I am big on watching TV. I knew I had to invest in a good television if I invested in anything. I was even prepared to eat Raman Noodles every night for a month so I could save up enough money for an HDTV.
I am not a typical early 22 year old who just places everything I can’t afford on a credit card. Instead, I will make sacrifices so I can pay for what I want with good ol’ money. After I saved enough money, I called the cable provider to see how much per month I would have to pay to have HD service.
The cable company said that it would be almost $10 more a month. I budgeted it into my financial situation and left the apartment to purchase my first HDTV. When I arrived at the electronics store, all of the HDTVs overwhelmed me.
I knew I didn’t want a gigantic tv but I craved one that was big enough. While I was looking around, I couldn’t believe the HD pictures on the televisions. They were so crisp and I could hardly wait to get it in my apartment so I could watch my most favorite shows in HD.
I settled on a 37 inch because it seemed to be large enough for my living room. It looks terrific against my picture window. I was even able to organise my furniture perfectly around it so when all my buddies come to visit everyone can see what I have on.
I am even planning a party for all of my buddies at work. The primary feature will be some pleasing food and a flick on my wonderful screen.

Writers Strike Ended And My New Television!

The Office is my all time choice tv show at the moment and I was so unhappy when it was temporarily cancelled due to the writer’s strike. I agree that everyone wants more money but what about what the viewers crave? Anyway, I heard the strike is over and the writers are returning to production.
This means that the sitcom will be returning on air in April and I couldn’t be any more happier. I am not only happy the sitcom is coming back but I also have a nice new HDTV that I cannot wait to try out on The Office. A few weeks ago, my tiny old 19 inch gave out and I knew it was time to take a shift into the 21st century by finding a shiny new HDTV.
All of my friends have been on my case trying to get me to buy a newer television but I never saw the necessity for it since my 19 inch was perfectly acceptable enough for my taste. Since I had to buy the new television, I decided on the HDTV as my friends suggested. Apparently, I didn’t research it well enough because I didn’t know that in order to get HDTV channels
I would have to pay my cable provider company more money a month! As if I do not pay enough money as it
is and now after forking out a grand on th television, I will have to pay even more per month. Instead of just succumbing to the realisation that I would just have to deal with paying for it, I went online to see if there was a way around it.
I am so glad I did because I found antennas that will find the signals I get from my cable provider company. I was stupefied to see the antennas were not a ton of money so I purchased one. Anyway, I am looking forward to watching The Office on my new television. Maybe Jim and Pam will get hitched, probably not.
Whom I love the best is Michael on the program because he reminds me so much of my old supervisor. It’s awesome how many of things that proceed out of his mouth sounds a lot like something he would say. Not only that, a lot of the stuff he says is such a shock that you just can’t help but laugh.
Now that I have a new television to view and many new shows starting up, I just know that it’s going to be the best TV watching experience I have had in a really long time.

You’re looking at buying televisions and you’ve got your eye on a Sony plasma television. The first thing that drew you was the size and the design of it. The price tag was nothing to be too worried about, but what really hooked you was the Sony name.

The quality guarantee that you get with the Sony name is what kept you there when another lesser known brand might have lured you away. When you are buying a Sony plasma television though, you should know of what to look for.

Certainly the first thing that you went for, is the look of the television and the size of it, but there are also other things that you should ideally check out before laying down any amount of cold hard cash – even if it is in the form of your credit card!

For instance if you take a look at the PFM 50C1 Sony plasma television there are a number of features which you will want to look. Doing this will also help you to make up your mind about whether you want this particular television or whether you want something else.

In short the Sony 50C1 television has a widescreen 16:9 format, a 50 inch EDTV plasma display, an integrated ATSC tuner, and a standard remote. And that’s just for starters.

When you go a little more in-depth in this particular Sony plasma television you will find that it has a built-in progressive scanner, a memory function which can save up to twenty different picture signals, and the ability to have a computer input.

It also has a 1024 x 1024 high definition native pixel resolution, and shows up an output of bright, rich colors that are a delight to behold. It also presents HDTV broadcasts in the manner it was meant to be seen.

And that was just for the 50C1 Sony plasma television. When you take the overall range of any Sony plasma television, you get all this and more, including the fact that you can also get plasma televisions in 30 inch screens and upwards, as well.

There’s also the little matter of sound quality, the overall design of the whole unit, and the fact that it’s a Sony plasma television. And although the price can be a little steep – its original retailing price was around $8000 – it is well worth the extra cash you put down for it.
